The Women’s March on January 21

On January 21, 2017, I will participate in the Women’s March in Los Angeles along with an estimate of more than 1 million women in over 100 cities worldwide. It is anticipated that more than 30,000 will march with me in Los Angeles in support of women’s rights and equality. If you would like to see if there is a march in your city, go here. I’d love for you to join me.

How important is this? It is TIME FOR OUR VOICE. One day after the presidential inauguration. TO BE HEARD.

The Spirited Woman Prayer Scarf – A Symbol for the Women’s March Worldwide

I urge you to stand together with your spiritually conscious sisters and brothers in solidarity by wearing the Spirited Woman Prayer Scarf, whether you attend the march or deeply support it in spirit.

I came across the prayer scarf, about a year ago. I was introduced to Nancy Mills, the founder of Spirited Woman  and the Sisterhood of the Sacred Scarves through my friend, author Eleanor Vincent, who will also walk on January 21 in Oakland, California.

Here’s Nancy Mills with her Namaste prayer scarf

Since meeting Nancy and seeing the passion in her eyes about empowerment for women, I have purchased several prayer scarves for myself and as gifts for my friends.

The Spirited Woman Prayer Scarf is a symbol of spirit, empowerment and beauty. To date there have been 17 scarves, each with a different theme. Thousands have been sold worldwide, connecting women together energetically. Hundreds of our sacred sisters will be wearing them at the march, myself included.

Presently, Namaste has been chosen as the signature prayer scarf for the march. Loosely translated Namaste means, “When I see the light in you and you see the light in me we are one.” Also, this sacred scarf happens to be the same colors as the march logo.

Please support the Sisterhood of the Sacred Scarves by purchasing Namaste. A portion of each prayer scarf is donated to the Spirited Woman Foundation to help heal and support women through actions of empowerment.

Let this scarf be your symbol for the Women’s March. Your connector. Your remembrance – whether you attend or support in spirit. Please go here to purchase. Only a limited number is available.
